Whenever the angered hero encountered one of the bandits who wronged him and killed his family, footage of the wrong being avenged is superimposed over the hero’s face. As a homage, this technique was used by Quentin Tarrantino in Kill Bill whenever The Bride confronted one of the Deadly Vipers.
The main theme of Death Rides a Horse is used in Kill Bill. It is the trilling flute and mixed choral piece played when The Bride calls out O-Ren Ishii and her bodyguards at the House of Blue Leaves.
The scene when the main character, Bill, watches his family being murdered is referenced in the animated scene of Kill Bill. Here the skull necklace is depicted as a skull ring, worn by the man who kills O-rens father.
“Death rides a Horse” is a 1970 reggae single from the Hippy Boys. It appears on the B-side of Max Romeos single “melting pot” on the Pama Unity label
“Death Rides a Horse” is a name of a track on the Russian Circles album Enter
Red Rock is the names of both Bill’s horse from Death Rides a Horse and the final Bull from the movie 8 Seconds

Without it, I don’t know what I will do [Good bye California]

November 14th, 2011

[Anything successful is a series of mistakes]

Well this is it guys,
I’m leaving for college this Friday and with that I am leaving so much behind. Marco is going to be staying home until I can find a place/way to ship him out to Louisiana. Just thinking about me being away from him a month is the worst feeling in the world. This last summer was the most amazing summer. I did so much with my friends and did so manny things I never thought I would be able to do in one summer, but with that I feel like this was the greatest summer I had had with Marco. I have been working on this video since the beginning of summer, which was when Marco was injured and it was a really tough time for me not being able to ride, but with that I learned to appreciate my horse so much more. I spent more time worrying about my horses well being then not being able to show( I did not compete in one show the entire summer) and even though I couldn’t show , I was still happy being around my horse and it seemed like he was happy just hanging with me (cause Im such a cool cat). And then these last few weeks of being able to ride him have been beyond incredible. I’m going to miss him so much and all my friends and family as well.

On another note this video was the most effort and meaning I had ever put in a video before. I had spent so much time editing this and making sure it was putting across exactly what I was feeling. In the end I feel like this video sums up my time on youtube as SSoftballProduction and my exprience in the horse world. I have always been asked why I ride, why do i want to keep riding. Saying I will never become anything in the horse world or on youtube, but it didn’t bother me. Riding horses and making vids are “the blood that pumps through my veins.” I love it and wouldn’t want to change it so I “took on the world” and I believe you “should do it atleast once in your life time.” And above all “Anything successful is a series of mistakes” is a quotes I live by. I believe I hav e made so many mistakes in my life but I’m hoping that with college that it will bring me success in the future in my career and I also hope that you guys learn something from it. Follow your heart, do what you love, and dont ever let someone tell you you cant do something. Period. Work toward your goal and make yourself happy when you accomplish it. I will leave it at that, but just know that you guys have been the greatest group of supporters ever. I love everyone of you that watch my videos, and subscribe I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. And I mean that. Love you all and hope I can continue to make videos in Louisiana. Later guys.

Oh and to be the pain in the ass…I WORKED MY OFF WITH THIS AUDIO! I WILL KNOW IF YOU STEAL IT AND I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN! :)

[Overcoming All Obstacles] Brandywine Valley Horse Trail Ride with Gam and Bay 8/10/11

August 27th, 2011

“To succeed you must first improve, to improve you must first practice, to practice you must first learn, and to learn you must first fail.”
-Wesley Woo

I can Identify with that quote! This trail ride was an experience! I took the boys out on pretty much Identical rides through the Brandwine Valley. I was hoping for a nice calm and peaceful ride, but Bay had other plans. He decided to argue over a puddle, of all things! I stood my ground, and he decided that I was right after all… I usually am :D Gam was awesome as always, Bay is just a little slower to catch on, but I love him just the same. Thumbs up for rescue horses!

Have you guys ever had to deal with something like this?! How did you overcome your obstacles? Let me know in the comments, I love to hear from you.

Be sure to hit up my facebook page @ www.facebook.com/questforchampion and hit the like button. You can share it on your wall all you want, I promise I won’t get mad :) See you guys again on Monday with a new video! Don’t forget to rate it and subscribe!
