READ BEFORE COMMENTING.
This is for my english project for school, I know I’m not as thorough as I could be if I had more time, but I was supposed to keep it short. No, don’t say crap about my riding, the how “not” to ride a horse was planned, and everything was fine. He was pulling for his head alot because he wasn’t ridden for quite some time due to the weather and he was a bit ansy. Also, excuse the pauses in between and the stumbling of words, we were trying to film it fast so we could get in out of the cold. For the record, the last word was “horse” but it was cut off by youtube for some reason. lol.
Riding in snow does us absolutely no justice. So please, don’t judge me by my riding in this video.
I’ll try to reply to all the comments I get on this, as I do all my videos. If somebody takes the time to tell me what they thought about my video, I’ll take the time to reply. :]
I’ve decided to ignore and remove any of the ridiculously stupid comments I get. So if you are trying to get a rise out of me, you’re wasting your time. And if it continues, I can always block you. Just letting you know. :]
STOP saying that we should’ve worn a helmet. We said in the video it’s a good idea to wear one, did we not? It’s MY choice if I want to wear a helmet or not. I know my horse and I’ve ridden without one all my life. My horse, my head, my choice.

From ASHA: www.asha.net
Judy Werner, President of ASHA, stated, When Equestrian Life presented its Learn to Ride and Drive in Style program at the ASHA Convention in February, it was immediately apparent to the ASHA Board of Directors that our organization needed to be a part of this project. Marketing to people who love horses but are not acquainted with the American Saddlebred makes this a unique opportunity for our breed. Being able to partner with UPHA and the Hackney Horse Society is also a step in the right direction to show a working relationship between three individual groups who share one goal: to shine the spotlight on two breeds who have a lot in common. They are both extraordinary breeds that make the ultimate show animal and also fit into so many different disciplines, along with being the perfect family horse or pony.
From AHHS:www.hackneysociety.com Randy Harper is the AHHS President and he noted, As President of the AHHS and past president of the UPHA, the main goal I have for the Equestrian Life program is to increase awareness of the Hackney breed. We also hope to increase activities involving the Hackneys and encourage pony trainers and owners to be approachable to all levels of interest and help grow the Society in a positive manner. We want to let people know that anyone can learn to drive and ride a Hackney; they are very versatile and the most athletic equines in the World. I think the Learn to Ride and Drive in Style program has all the key elements to make these goals happen.
From UPHA www.uphaonline.com
Equestrian Life’s Learn To Ride and Drive in Style Program is a rare opportunity to bring together the United Professional Horseman’s Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association and the American Hackney Horse and Pony Society for one common goal: To promote, expose and give access to our wonderful horses and ponies. This project is the first marketing project we have taken on as a team that not only showcases our product, it actually gives the horse lover a way to enter the world of American Saddlebred Horses and Hackney Horse and Ponies by giving free riding and driving lesson coupons. We know once they discover our amazing American Saddlebred Horses and Hackney Horse and Ponies, they will be hooked for life. The UPHA is proud to be a part of such an exciting endeavor said Bret C. Day, UPHA President.
