Learning to Ride – First Lesson of 2012 at Thompsons Horse Centre (Lesson #24 overall), after 3 weeks off over Xmas/NY – feels good to get back into it!
And yeah, there are some moments when I completely suck but its been a while.
Lots of diagonals and figure-eights. I actually did my first walk-canter transition but didnt get it on video.. maybe next time

Learning to ride as an adult beginner, 5th lesson at Thompsons Horse Centre.
Rex Peterson and Cari Swanson specialize in teaching riders to develop a balanced seat quickly using these simple training exercises on horses that are beautifully trained. This 4 year old mare is an excellent horse to learn on. Simone makes tremendous progress by riding with not stirrups or reins.
This video is for all the equestrians out there who struggle to learn dressage (or any form of riding for that matter). This is the good, the bad and the ugly moments in our training. ENJOY!!
