We have had many people through our barn. Some come to learn to ride, others come to reacquaint themselves with riding. Age really doesn’t matter. We have had people through in their 80s and others as young as 3. The most rewarding are the special needs people we have helped. The glow in a child’s eye when they know they are in charge of this large animal is truly special. Seeing others with a new found freedom of mobility and strength really touches the heart, even of us old cowboys. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime. Well I wasnt actually too sure what this video was going to be about…and it turned out like this, I guess I needed to express myself in why I ride and it’s all true, I dont always get good comments (im talking about coachs here not yter’s coz yter’s dont effect me riding

I confess that I’m a tad nervous around any animal big enough to crush me just by not paying attention. Nonetheless, I found it pretty cool that my friends, Kevin and Ginny have learned how to respectfully enjoy their horses on their horses’ own terms. I don’t know if it is exactly horse whispering, but watching the way they treat their horse, Tenor, is impressive. It’s almost as if they don’t train the horse, but they merely learn each others’ languages.
