Without it, I don’t know what I will do [Good bye California]

November 14th, 2011

[Anything successful is a series of mistakes]

Well this is it guys,
I’m leaving for college this Friday and with that I am leaving so much behind. Marco is going to be staying home until I can find a place/way to ship him out to Louisiana. Just thinking about me being away from him a month is the worst feeling in the world. This last summer was the most amazing summer. I did so much with my friends and did so manny things I never thought I would be able to do in one summer, but with that I feel like this was the greatest summer I had had with Marco. I have been working on this video since the beginning of summer, which was when Marco was injured and it was a really tough time for me not being able to ride, but with that I learned to appreciate my horse so much more. I spent more time worrying about my horses well being then not being able to show( I did not compete in one show the entire summer) and even though I couldn’t show , I was still happy being around my horse and it seemed like he was happy just hanging with me (cause Im such a cool cat). And then these last few weeks of being able to ride him have been beyond incredible. I’m going to miss him so much and all my friends and family as well.

On another note this video was the most effort and meaning I had ever put in a video before. I had spent so much time editing this and making sure it was putting across exactly what I was feeling. In the end I feel like this video sums up my time on youtube as SSoftballProduction and my exprience in the horse world. I have always been asked why I ride, why do i want to keep riding. Saying I will never become anything in the horse world or on youtube, but it didn’t bother me. Riding horses and making vids are “the blood that pumps through my veins.” I love it and wouldn’t want to change it so I “took on the world” and I believe you “should do it atleast once in your life time.” And above all “Anything successful is a series of mistakes” is a quotes I live by. I believe I hav e made so many mistakes in my life but I’m hoping that with college that it will bring me success in the future in my career and I also hope that you guys learn something from it. Follow your heart, do what you love, and dont ever let someone tell you you cant do something. Period. Work toward your goal and make yourself happy when you accomplish it. I will leave it at that, but just know that you guys have been the greatest group of supporters ever. I love everyone of you that watch my videos, and subscribe I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. And I mean that. Love you all and hope I can continue to make videos in Louisiana. Later guys.

Oh and to be the pain in the ass…I WORKED MY OFF WITH THIS AUDIO! I WILL KNOW IF YOU STEAL IT AND I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN! :)

How To Ride a Horse — English Project

October 16th, 2011

READ BEFORE COMMENTING.
This is for my english project for school, I know I’m not as thorough as I could be if I had more time, but I was supposed to keep it short. No, don’t say crap about my riding, the how “not” to ride a horse was planned, and everything was fine. He was pulling for his head alot because he wasn’t ridden for quite some time due to the weather and he was a bit ansy. Also, excuse the pauses in between and the stumbling of words, we were trying to film it fast so we could get in out of the cold. For the record, the last word was “horse” but it was cut off by youtube for some reason. lol.

Riding in snow does us absolutely no justice. So please, don’t judge me by my riding in this video.

I’ll try to reply to all the comments I get on this, as I do all my videos. If somebody takes the time to tell me what they thought about my video, I’ll take the time to reply. :]

I’ve decided to ignore and remove any of the ridiculously stupid comments I get. So if you are trying to get a rise out of me, you’re wasting your time. And if it continues, I can always block you. Just letting you know. :]

STOP saying that we should’ve worn a helmet. We said in the video it’s a good idea to wear one, did we not? It’s MY choice if I want to wear a helmet or not. I know my horse and I’ve ridden without one all my life. My horse, my head, my choice.
