This girl riding the horse is in her 20’s – her dad just died 44 days before this performance. You can hear her dedication to him just before her performance so turn up your speakers a bit. Notice that it is just her and the horse – no bit, no saddle. She just uses signals and verbal cues, she’s mute – as in NOT SPEAKING to the horse, not as a MUTE person. Oh yeah, this isn’t even her horse. She is training it for someone else,
although she obviously has a relationship with this one.
I don’t know how much you know about horseback riding, but when they go fast, her bum isn’t even bouncing off the horse like you will see. Don’t know how she did that.

A Parelli trained Natural Horse Trainer, 16-year-old Lina Brandt from Sweden, sent us this inspiring video. Lina is a Savvy Club member, Level 3 horse trainer and is aspiring to become a Parelli Professional Horse Trainer. She has been training her horse since 2001. I chose this song because it describes how I feel towards him. when he came into my life, I was going through some really tough times. I wasn’t ready for a new challenge, especially not a stubborn yearling. but now I realize that he’s more that JUST a stubborn yearling, because he’s 2 and a half right now and he’s JUST that good! I promised I’d never fall in love with another horse.. but I broke that promise. and I’m definatly glad I did! he’s an angel in disguise, I swear. Dandy, I can see your halo.

Dandy. what can I say? without this horse, I might have quit riding. I started getting bored with Heidi (and Nicole is free-leasing her), and Molly is too out of control to actually ride..
this horse helped me so much. he’s only 2 and a half years old, but he acts like he’s so much older. he has taught me that with time, anything is possible. that I can learn to ride any horse- even a challenge as big as him. he’s taught me to never get up, because amazing things take time to happen. I love this horse more than anything. he’s not just my pony, he’s my best friend. I can’t put it into words how much he means to me. I’d do anything for him. I have a feeling that I’ll go far with this horse. so we’ll keep working, until we’re both ready to take on new challenges. we’ll take evey day- and challenge- as it comes.

That’s my little sister riding my horse (welsh pony mare) Karin. Sweet video, which I record when came first (permanent) snow. She absolutely loves, especially Karin!!!! I really like their spanish walk and rearing! My sister can do trotting and cantering (and small jumps) but only with saddle -and helmet!. Please post comments and rate!!!
