Learning how to ride when I was little…

I was an annoying little 7 year old who thought I could do anything.
Back then it was cool to wear your helmet all day, even if you weren’t riding 
Riding a bigger horse then everyone else meant you were the ‘best’ rider (even though he’s only 15.1hh, man I must have been tiny! Look at the way I climb into the saddle!).
Cantering was a massive deal…
And I used to brag to my friends about how I can jump really high (lol…. yeah ground poles were massive back then…).
God bless that horse.
I really wasn’t the best rider(been riding for a year)…. he put up with anything and taught me everything.
The song says it all.
I just wish I could be there for him these days :’(
It really breaks my heart when I see how happy he is in these videos.
I’ve tried everything to buy him back!

aww he’s gorgeous. you’re totally right about the hat thing! but now its apprently ‘cool’ to carry your hat by ur side and swing it around. lol. how is red doing now, i wish him all the best.
p.s., love the way u mount! ive got a 15hh cob (rides like a 16hander!) and im only 5ft2 so my mounting looks a little like that! lol getting better tho cs im getting used 2 bt then i bin riding for 7 years and hes the biggest ive ridden so u cant blame me lol. again great vid and i wish red all the best

I’m only 9 right …
I’m only 9 right now and I have my own pony. I do dressage, but no way! I started when I was 4, and I wasn’t even this good when I was 7!

I can´t believe that hes the same horse!
He looks interested and funny,but in all others just uninterested of his life (sorry i´m german i hope you´re understanding me ?! =P )
I know it from my pony in a diffrent way, she was an happy and funny partner for some months, then she became a filly, this filly died because of an silly accident, and then she was agressiv, noone could help her, so we have to kill her… Today ´think i could help her now, but its to late =´(

i think ur video is beautiful, he look slike an amaing horse, and it hurts my heart to see how people who bought him took care of him and turned him into a lifeless soul….hes a very grand horse and ur lucky to have time to spend with him
