It's using a vaulting horse, typically....a draft or the like, that just learns to travel around in a circle off a lunge line for example....it's not a big deal to the horse who is taught to ignore the rider bouncing around their back (standing on his back with a special rigging, hanging off the side, jumping on and off the horse's back)..... Oh, and as for peanut girl? Trick riding is when a rider does tricks like hanging sideways off of a horse, standing on their back, riding two at once, etc. Vaulting is done without a saddle and it is more like dancing while on the back of a horse.
