Buying My Horse

Annie is no longer my horse.
May of 2007, I went to test ride a sorrel Quarter Horse and We ended up buying her. This is the video of us bringing her home.
I had Annie for about a year a half before deciding I was ready to move on to something new. She taught me so much during the time I did own her and I couldn’t have asked for a better first horse to learn the basics of riding with. We sold her in November 2008 to a wonderful new home and I now have two other mares; a red dun and an appaloosa.

I know what you mean!!I had my first horse for 3 1/2 years he was my and is my best friend!I had to have him put to rest last month..I cried and still didnt know why he had to leave..but then I had to remember that I saved him and gave him the best years:) its very hard..I got another horse abused horse like he was.Shes such a nice mare:)

I know! I ride both. Just because western riders don’t have to spend $1,000 to show in a local shows doesn’t mean they are like hillbillies or something like that. At the same time though all english riders aren’t stuck up snobs

there is a really pretty palomino mare at my barn who is also named cheyanne. at camp today i requested to ride her(i’ve ridden her a lot) but apparently she was only for inexperienced riders and im experienced so they put me on a fiesty arab gelding named Red 15+ hands he’s beautiful
