    just remember the …
just remember the shape of the hoof and frog and dont move the tool against the grains go with it and be aware that those shapes are there. It works for all types of tedious type jobs in any field. When i was new at grooming i didnt know any better and just got good at it. It’s a small phobia to work around : )

Fire the vet he’s an idiot. then get a good farrier he’ll fix the problem. I understand what your saying about being nervous I still hate triming their hooves. If I can pawn it off on someone else I will.

    I understand that …
I understand that it is important to clean out your horses hooves, this is why I get my instructor to do it. I am sure you are wondering, why I don’t do it myself, and that is only because someone I knew at my barn that I board at, accidently got the pick into the frog, and broke off a bit the size of a nickle!!! The horse, could no longer be ridden until his frog healed, and the vet said to just put him to sleep as he is in too much pain!! Know I have a total phobia of cleaning my horse’s feet!
