Is Cowboy Trail Rides still in operation? Horseback?

January 3rd, 2010

I was thinking of taking the Lady Horseback riding, and I heard about Cowboy Trail Rides, but their website is down. Anybody know if they are open still?

Is there a better option?

Thank you.

Red Rock Sun-up Horseback Tour

Saddle up with professional cowboys and experience the West on this unique trail ride that includes a picnic lunch.

This is your chance to enjoy a horseback ride through spectacular Red Rock Canyon and the foothills of the Spring Mountain Range. A shuttle bus will pick you up and transport you to the canyon area, 20 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.

You will meet your cowboy guides there as you saddle up and head out for your trail ride. Mornings are a great time of day to enjoy the desert and ideal for horseback riding. At 3,800 feet above sea level, Red Rock Canyon recreational area is usually 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. Admire the breathtaking countryside and see panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and rugged landscape.

A great meal always tastes better after a great ride. Relax and enjoy a picnic lunch and bottled water.
