I am going on a 2 hour trail ride tomorrow and hoping to be able to ride in an english saddle (its what I’m used to) and I want to know if leggings will be ok. I usually wear breeches when I ride on an english saddle, but my leggings are a bit thinner. Also will it be okay to wear leggings on a western saddle if they only have those available. ALSO any other info on trail riding would be much appreciated!! Thanks!!

Eh, 2 hour ride isn’t that bad. If you are used to riding.
I think leggings would be fine, though I would ditch the skirt. (Not sure how wearing a skirt would help.)

   would say that wearing leggings while horseriding for two hours might get extremely uncomfortable.
   jodphurs are more suitable for longer rides, as it has padings on pressure spots.
   Trail riding is fun as!
