I’ve always wanted to ride, but its so expensive just for one lesson. Does anyone know how to learn to ride for cheap or free?

make friends with people who ride and they may offer for you to ride their horses. you could work it off, by cleaning stalls at the barn, or doing other jobs around the barn. or get a job to pay for the lessons, depending on where you take lessons you may be able to just pay for one lesson without buying the whole 8 lesson package. hope this helps ♥

ive always loved horses and wanted to learn to ride and care for a horse. I am 31 I know alot of riders start out young so idk if im too old lol. im also afraid of falling and getting hurt. idk what do u think. I have been on a horse trail couple of times and really loved it. well any advice would be nice.

Hi! I love horses and you should do what you love even if you think you’re "too old". If its something you always wanted to try, go to a place where people can help you along the way! Sometimes people volunteer to work with horses, so they learn to care for them, and in exchange they can ride them! Horses usually don’t do anything to hurt their rider, unless they have a rambunctious personality. Find a older horse, for they are usually more calm and will do what their riders tell them. They won’t go running off. Hope this helped!

where are some places to go horseback riding that are not trails?

I have been looking for a new place to go horseback riding and I like trail rides but you can find those almost every where. So i need to find a place where you can maybe ride in open fields or maybe even working cows, so if you know a place that will be awesome it needs to be around the Mo, Kc area.

My kids had a lots of fun at "Mountain Meadow Ranch", they had a lots of fun, and learned the horseback riding, trainers were awesome, you should try…
