The video says it all.

“My heart goes out to hundreds of other riders here on YouTube who get pulled down too.
No one is supposed to be put down. Everyone is supposed to be happy and to try and HELP each other. We need to stick together and help each other out. We need to stop these stupid little comments saying we ride badly.
I shake my head every time I see a video with such mean and hateful comments.
It’s not right. It’s not the way it SHOULD be. Who says these people are better than you?
For all we know they could just be stupid idiots who only wish to even SIT on a horse.”

I didn’t carry on because of education. I needed the money for university. And well, slightly I do regret it, but then I don’t. I know there will always be horses around, so what’s the rush? There are still loads of time in the future

Thank you to those who have supported me over the years. I really appreciate it.
Sadly I was a really big victim in getting pulled down. But I think it was because I uploaded the wrong videos… I always only uploaded the EXCITING stuff. I never really uploaded my warm-ups or when we did flat work or no stirrup work. I regret that part to be honest. But hey, its in the past, and what’s been done has been done. The only way now is forward.

I was going to return riding this year, since I have a day off from University. But due to being very pricey, and the demands of my course, I decided against it.

I’ve been offered many times by my lovely parents if I wanted to go on a horse trek, but I’ve said maybe, but I never really go. I think I avoid it because I know once I sit on a horse again; I’ll just ball my eyes out.

Horses has always been my life, and it was such a pleasure to ride them and to learn all their little ways. I was so grateful for that. Horses is me, horses make me the person I am, and there is never a day where I don’t go about not thinking about them. They’ll always be there, but for now, they’ll have to wait.

A Parelli trained Natural Horse Trainer, 16-year-old Lina Brandt from Sweden, sent us this inspiring video. Lina is a Savvy Club member, Level 3 horse trainer and is aspiring to become a Parelli Professional Horse Trainer. She has been training her horse since 2001. Hey guys,

OK, I am in a good mood today and have faith in humanity to be kind, so I reinstated the comment board and took down my harsh disclaimer. This is all with the hope that no one will be unnecessarily rude in their comments.

This is my riding lesson on Jake at Spring Down Equestrian Center in Portola Valley, CA.

Carol Goldstein’s horses are amazing there and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to ride up north.

I love horses and unfortunately don’t get to ride very much anymore because of work, hence some of the rookie mistakes. I know I am not a perfect rider, but I LOVE horses and always treat them well. After seeing this video I realized my stirrups were too short, my heels weren’t down enough and I hunch forward so please be kind and only add constructive comments.

Monica is a fifteen year old girl with a passion for horses and big dreams! Lilly is a six year old, 1/2 blind, Paint mare. Lilly was very green when I first found her, and has provided many challenges. But with dedication and some Parelli savvy – we’ve really come far!

This video was taken this summer.

A bit about where I am riding- well, we’ve been riding bridless in the pasture since last Christmas. Then this spring we rode completely bridless in a group of about seven other students. And after practicing in this open area with a halter for a while, I decided that we would ride without a halter. (lots of proper preparation!) And while she’s not quite as sensitive as she is in the pasture, she still seizes to amaze me!

Lilly was also featured in one of the Parelli Savvy Times Magazines for the Partner Profiles section.
